 BAK Battery Co., Ltd., was founded in 2001 with a registered capital of 433,580,000 RMB. We are an American Public high-tech Foreign-Funded Enterprise ( Stock Symbol: CBBT ), mainly specializing in the research and development, production and sale of the Li-ion battery cell.BAK Industrial Park, which is 360,000sqms, is located in kuiyong Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. As one of the largest professional manufactures of Li-ion battery, we have over 8000 employees by now and our daily output is 1000,000 pieces.
The advancement of technology is the power of the development of BAK. We attached high importance to human resource and technology and we have succeeded in attracting many professional technicians and setting up an independent R&D center based on the technology of Changchun Applied Chemistry Research Institute of China Scientific Institute, Jilin University and Electrochemistry Department of Xiamen University and Shenzhen University. After the approval of National Ministry of Personnel in Oct.2002, a postdoctoral station was set up.
