 Changzhou Aircraft Manufacture Limited Company (abbreviated as CAM) is a state-owned company affiliated to China Aviation Industry Corporation II (shortened as AVIC II). CAM is located in west suburb of Changzhou City, Jiangsu province, near the Shanghai-Nanjing Railway, the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway and the No.312 National Way, only 17 km to the Changzhou Civil Airport. It is very convenient for transportation. CAM covers an area of 1,100,000 m2, including roofed area of 109,000 m2. Early in 1970, when our company was just founded, we produced helicopters. From 1979, we began to manufacture ¢ñ¡¢¢ò¡¢¢ó categories. Pressure vessels to make a better use of our advantages in military production.CAM has more than 700 employees, including 268 technical persons engaged in aircraft design, aircraft manufacture, welding, material, nondestructive inspection, machinery, chemical machinery and electric control. Among these technical persons, there are 34 senior engineers and 40 engineers. The registered assets of the company is 120,000,000 RMB yuan and the total assets is 266,000,000 RMB yuan. CAM has 882 sets of equipment used for manufacture, inspection and test as well as a special airport with tens of general- purpose aircraft.
Now in CAM, the main aero-products are aero-extinguishers, CK drone aircraft and ground-effect aircraft; the main non aero-products are pressure vessels, welded gas cylinders, special gas cylinders, tank containers and civil nuclear pressure-bearing equipment. CAM has the capability to produce 1650 tons pressure vessels and 62,000 welded gas cylinders per year. As the biggest production base of steel gas cylinders with the highest output and great varieties in China, CAM occupies about 45 percent shares in our country market for the production and the sale of welded gas cylinders. CAM has a Physical & Chemical Test Center with enough advanced equipment for material and welds.
