 Shinkong Synthetic Fibers Corporation was founded by H.S. Wu in 1967, later was joint ventured by Toray Industries. Inc. and Mitsubishi Corporation Co., Ltd. The initial capital was NT160 million, and by the end of 2005, it increased to NT 13.3 billion, which was the category 1 stock company in the TSEC. The total number of employees is 2,100 with more than 120,000 shareholders and NT25.5 billion assets.
The company finished construction in May 1970 and began operation. Under many times of expansion, there are three main factories in Taiwan with the total area of 134,500 pings, and produce 1292 tons of polyester products per day. Besides, there are manufacturing factories in China and Thailand. Shinkong Synthetic Fibers Corporation is the main producers of Polyester fibers and plastics. Our products include Textured yarns, polyester filament yarn, polyester staple fiber, POY, Industrial yarn, polyester chips, PET bottle grade resin, PET bottles, PET perform , engineering plastics, optical film, polyester film and A-PET sheet.
