Qinhuangdao Yinbei Foods Company Ltd. is a joint-stock enterprise with independent legal qualification. With the ongoing reform, the company has completed its shares mechanism innovation and has become more vigorous and stronger. Located at the beautiful Bohai beach and the starting point of the Great Wall¡ªShan Haiguan, this company has 24.5 million yuan of fix assets and 600 employees. This company is an integration of breeding, processing and marketing with its own breeding farm and freezing and processing plants. The breeding farm has 67 hectares of seawater breeding areas and 93 hectares of mud land, mainly for the breeding of high nutrition varieties such as shellfish, gulf shellfish, clams, Pacific oysters, globe fish and weevers, etc., producing 2000 tons of shellfish and 200 tons of fish a year. The freezing and processing plant covers an area of 2.7 hectares with a yearly processing capacity of 2000 tons and freezing storage capacity of 1500 tons. Equipped with domestically advanced facilities, the processing plant processes over 20 varieties of shellfish, clams and fish, such as short-necked clams, inkfish, arkshell, scallops, clams, squid, globe fish, weevers, octopus, halfbeak fish, pacific oyster, prawn, and seaweed. The plant is the first in its business field to have established an HACCP system registered with US FDA, implementing required working regulations and standardized sanitary and safety control process with low temperature instant freezing and bacteria-free bagging up to the latest processing technology and international standards. Strictly in operation of HACCP system, the processing allows no antiseptics or additives, which keeps the original flavor and nutrition to the greatest extend. 95% of the products are exported to the US, Japan, Korea, Canada, Germany, France and Spain, remaining popular in domestic markets in the Northeast China, Tianjin and Beijing as well.
