 IS'vision Technologies Co., Ltd (IS'vison Tech) found in Dec of 2001,is headquartered at Shanghai Pudong Software Park, national software industry base. The registered capital of IS'vision is RMB 40 million, former body is Chengdu IS'vision network communication technologies Co.,Ltd found in July 1999.Since its foundation,IS'vision is devoted to the research, development, spread of technologies and products of facial recognition with independence intellectual property.April 2000, IS'vision Tech signed strategy cooperation MOU with Institute of Computer Technology, and established Institute of Computer Technology-IS'vision Tech Facial Recognition Unite Laboratory. Both parties sent researchers to delve into the facial recognition core technologies and interrelated key problems and it became one the most important and famous national facial recognition research institute.
With amount of support from Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and ministries of Shanghai government, especially the Ministry Science Management of Shanghai, IS'vision Tech had great breakthrough in technology innovations and products development. In November 2002, IS'vision Tech conference representative verification system had been adopted by 16th representative congress of CPC and wins the reputation of IS'vision. In March 2004, the project of IS'vision Tech Facial Recognition System and Application won the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress, and also won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress with Institute of Computer Technology in 2005.
